Infoenon exists to make trustworthy information easier to find. These Guidelines apply to publisher-controlled profiles, claims, modules, pages, products, promotions, polls, reports, Community Notes when available, and other participation directly controlled through Infoenon.
Be authentic
- Do not impersonate a person, organization, publication, product, or public authority.
- Do not submit false domain, employment, ownership, identity, or authorization evidence.
- Do not mislead users about affiliations, verification, sponsorship, or who controls information.
Do not cause harm
- Do not threaten, promote, coordinate, or celebrate credible violence or targeted harm.
- Do not sexually exploit or endanger minors, share non-consensual intimate material, or facilitate trafficking or abuse.
- Do not target people with sustained harassment, hateful abuse, or exposure of sensitive private information.
- Do not promote self-harm, dangerous criminal activity, or instructions intended to produce imminent serious harm.
No fraud, manipulation, or malicious technology
- Do not run scams, phishing, credential theft, deceptive promotions, malware, or malicious redirects.
- Do not manipulate rankings, engagement, polls, reports, Community Notes, claims, or verification through coordinated or automated abuse.
- Do not evade suspensions, technical controls, rate limits, moderation decisions, or identity checks.
Respect privacy and intellectual property
Publish only information you have the right and authority to share. Do not expose private addresses, credentials, financial information, government identifiers, medical records, or other highly sensitive data without a lawful and compelling basis. Respect copyright, trademark, publicity, and other rights, and provide required attribution.
Keep commercial information honest
Products, prices, availability, promotions, endorsements, contests, and material relationships must be accurate and clearly described. Do not create fake urgency, hidden terms, misleading comparisons, or deceptive links. Follow consumer-protection, advertising, and industry rules that apply to you.
Public-interest and sensitive content
Newsworthy, educational, documentary, scientific, or counterspeech context may affect how content is handled, but context is not a blanket exception. Graphic, mature, or potentially distressing material should be necessary, contextualized, and labeled where labeling is available.
External protocol content
Some search and social results come from the public web or independent AT Protocol services and were not posted through Infoenon. We may label, filter, rank, or stop displaying that material on Infoenon, but removal here may not remove it from its original host or the wider protocol network.
Reports, enforcement, and appeals
Users may report content, identity abuse, incorrect associations, and policy violations through available reporting channels. Depending on severity, context, history, and risk, Infoenon may warn, label, reduce visibility, remove content, restrict features, suspend publisher control, reverse a claim, block technical access, preserve evidence, or contact appropriate authorities. When an appeal channel is available, provide accurate context and do not abuse it.
These Guidelines may evolve as new features and risks emerge. Good- faith criticism of Infoenon, its policies, or its operators is allowed and is not a violation merely because it is forceful or uncomfortable.
