Effective August 6, 2026. These Terms of Use govern access to Infoenon search, profiles, claims, Organization Studio, integrations, social discovery, moderation, and related services. By accessing or using Infoenon, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use Infoenon.
1. Who may use Infoenon
You must be at least 13 years old, meet any higher minimum age required where you live, and be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you use Infoenon for a company, organization, publication, government body, or another person, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity and manage the information you submit on its behalf.
2. AT Protocol sign-in
Infoenon does not create an account for you. Management features use an existing AT Protocol identity and OAuth authorization. Your handle, DID, PDS, repository, and protocol activity are governed by the services that provide them. You are responsible for securing that identity, maintaining accurate domain records, reviewing authorization requests, and promptly revoking access or notifying us if control is lost or compromised.
Signing out of Infoenon does not delete your AT Protocol identity. Losing, changing, or transferring a handle, DID, domain, or PDS may affect profile authority and may cause a claim or management role to be reviewed, restricted, or removed.
3. Search and reference information
Infoenon indexes and organizes information from publisher-controlled profiles, the public web, AT Protocol services, Wikipedia, Wikimedia, Wikidata, news sources, and enabled integrations. Search results, rankings, classifications, summaries, entity matching, relationship matching, and knowledge panels may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Verification and profile-status labels describe identity, authority, or source status; they are not endorsements, guarantees of truth, or ranking promises.
Results may link to independent services. Infoenon does not control the destination, its availability, its content, or what it does with your information. A link, integration, or result does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
4. Claims, authority, and managed profiles
- You may claim or manage only entities you are authorized to represent.
- Domain-based handles, DID resolution, public records, employer authorization, and other evidence may be used to determine authority.
- You must not submit false evidence, impersonate another entity, or retain control after your authority ends.
- Automated domain matching may be reviewed or reversed when evidence conflicts, ownership changes, or abuse is suspected.
- Delegated organization teams and administrator-managed access are planned but unavailable in the current beta.
- Manual evidence review, competing claims, and appeals are planned but unavailable in the current beta.
5. Content you control
You retain ownership of original content you submit. You grant Infoenon a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, index, cache, format, adapt for technical display, distribute, publicly display, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Infoenon service and make your requested profile and search features available. This license ends when the content is removed from our active service, except for reasonable backup, audit, legal, and security retention.
You represent that you have all rights, permissions, consents, and authority required for submitted text, images, trademarks, links, product information, employee data, polls, promotions, and other materials. You remain responsible for their legality and accuracy. Public-source content remains subject to its original licenses, attribution, and provider terms.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy, publicity rights, contractual duties, or court orders.
- Do not impersonate, deceive, manipulate claims, misrepresent domain ownership, or create false organizational relationships.
- Do not publish malware, phishing, credential theft, scams, unlawful threats, targeted harassment, sexual exploitation, or instructions designed to cause imminent harm.
- Do not expose highly sensitive Personal Data, dox others, or misuse private information.
- Do not interfere with security, availability, ranking integrity, moderation, access controls, rate limits, or other users.
- Do not scrape, crawl, automate, or query Infoenon in a way that creates unreasonable load, evades controls, violates published technical rules, or repackages the service deceptively.
- Do not use results or profile tools to make unlawful eligibility, employment, housing, credit, insurance, or similarly consequential decisions.
7. Community and moderation
The Community Guidelines form part of these Terms. Infoenon may investigate reports and use automated systems, external signals, and human review to detect abuse. We may label, reduce distribution, unpublish, remove, preserve, or restrict content; suspend publisher controls; reject or reverse claims; block automated access; or refer matters to appropriate authorities. We may act without advance notice when necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, or platform integrity. Available appeal or correction channels may be used to challenge a decision.
8. Feedback
If you send ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you allow Infoenon to use them without restriction or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of content published through your managed profile.
9. Infoenon intellectual property
Infoenon’s service, software, design, branding, documentation, and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for clearly identified open-source components or rights expressly granted in these Terms, no license is granted to copy, resell, misrepresent, or create a confusingly similar service using Infoenon’s protected materials.
10. Service changes and availability
Infoenon is under active development. Features, integrations, ranking methods, limits, labels, and availability may change. We may add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features and may impose reasonable technical limits. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, permanent storage, complete results, or compatibility with every PDS, client, or external source.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Infoenon, sign out, revoke OAuth authorization, or unpublish eligible managed content. We may suspend or terminate access to management features when you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, lose authority over an entity, or when required by law. Public reference information or protocol material may remain visible even after management access ends because it comes from independent public sources.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Infoenon is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and warranties arising from course of dealing. We do not warrant that results, summaries, verification, classifications, external content, or entity relationships are accurate, complete, current, secure, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular decision. Nothing here limits rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Infoenon and its operators, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunities; or harm arising from third-party content, protocol services, external links, unauthorized profile changes, or reliance on search results. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
14. Responsibility for claims against Infoenon
If you use Infoenon for a business or organization, you agree, to the extent permitted by law, to defend and indemnify Infoenon and its operators against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from your submitted content, fraudulent authority claims, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another party’s rights. This does not apply to the extent a claim results from Infoenon’s own unlawful conduct.
15. Disputes and applicable law
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to provide notice through an available Infoenon support channel and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. Applicable law determines any mandatory rights, forum, and procedures. No arbitration agreement, class-action waiver, or chosen jurisdiction is imposed by this draft. Those provisions require identification of the operating legal entity and review by qualified counsel before public launch.
16. General terms
These Terms, together with incorporated policies, are the agreement concerning Infoenon use. If one provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer management rights or these Terms without authorization; Infoenon may transfer them as part of a business reorganization. Headings are for convenience and do not change meaning.
17. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as Infoenon develops. Material changes will be identified in the Info Center and may receive additional notice. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using Infoenon and revoke authorization. Questions may be submitted through available support channels; formal operator and legal contact information must be added before public launch.
